Drake: Your Top Artist This Year
That is the last 12 months — everything below is worked out from that period only, with days measured in UTC.
Looking back at your listening over the last 12 months, one artist truly stood out. Drake was a dominant force, played 2.2 times as often as J. Cole, your next most-listened artist.
With a remarkable 674 plays dedicated to Drake, his music clearly formed a significant part of your soundscape. J. Cole, while a strong presence, followed with fewer plays, highlighting the depth of your engagement with Drake.
This consistent focus on Drake suggests a comfortable and deeply explored sound, fitting for a 'warm, low-lit' listening experience. It shows a clear and well-loved anchor in your musical journey throughout the year.

Counted from your whole history, not just this period.
Mood across the period
The emotional shape of the period rather than its volume: each bar is coloured by the feeling of the music played in it, above the midline when the music ran bright and below it when it ran sombre. It is only drawn when the mood actually moves — a period that held one register is described in a sentence instead, because a chart of twelve identical bars would imply a shape that is not there.
How this is worked outMood is ESTIMATED FROM THE GENRES you play, not measured from the audio: Spotify withdrew its audio-features data in 2024, so each genre carries a brightness and intensity measured across a large reference set, and your plays are scored against those. That is a fair reading of a taste and a weak one of any single track — two songs by the same artist score alike. Plays are averaged into a single brightness value per bar and coloured by the mood family it falls in. A bar is a day on short periods; on longer ones days are grouped into weeks (and months into quarters) so each bar stays wide enough to read and carries the dates it covers. The average is weighted by plays, so a busy day counts for more than a single track, and stretches with no plays are drawn flat and greyed rather than omitted.
Your mood held to one register the whole way through — every stretch landed in happy / energised. There is no shape to chart, which is its own kind of answer: this is a settled taste rather than a fluctuating one.
Mood is read from your music — audiobooks and podcasts are not scored — and estimated from the genres you play rather than the audio itself.
Each bar is that artist’s share of every play in the period.
